PROJECT CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS
Project Introduction
DOOBARWOOBAR FRIENDS is a premium emotional fantasy animation IP that conveys the value of life and the meaning of family through the friendship, love, and sacrifice of abandoned animals.
One cold and rainy day, six abandoned little animals meet in a mysterious forest village called DOODOOTOWN, where they accept one another as family and begin a new life together. One day, they encounter the spirit of a boy named Apo, who has fallen into a coma. As they laugh, grow, and share adventures together, they gradually discover the true meaning of love, friendship, and family.
In a deeply moving twist at the end of the story, the friends sacrifice their final light to bring Apo’s spirit back to the real world. Through this emotional journey, the story delivers a universal message: Every life deserves to be loved.
DOOBARWOOBAR FRIENDS is a family-oriented content IP designed to inspire children with dreams and hope while offering adults deep empathy and emotional resonance. Its universal story transcends cultural and language barriers, allowing audiences around the world to connect with its message.
The IP also offers strong commercial potential and sustainable global competitiveness, with opportunities to expand into feature-length and series animation, OTT platforms, character licensing, toys, plush products, publishing, games, live performances, brand collaborations, and more.
